Run for Veterans 2026

Get ready, on Saturday November 7, 2026 at 8:00 a.m. the Cross the Line Foundation will be kicking off our sixth annual 5K Run for Veterans.

The course is an out and back 3.1 mile/5 kilometer run. This year again runners will start and finish at the Veterans Memorial in Central Park on Atlantic Blvd, in Fernandina Beach, Florida. Registration will open in August at crossthelinefoundationveteransday5k.itsyourrace.com or go to Milestone Race Authority and look for the Cross the Line Run for Veterans 5K.

All runners will receive a Cross the Line shirt highlighting all six branches of service (Army, Navy, AirForce, Marines, Coast Guard, and Space Force).  Prizes, provided by Game Changers Running Company will be awarded to the first three male and female finishers,  plus medals will be awarded to the top finishers in each age group.

Packet pick-up will be held on November 6th  at Game Changers Running Company located on 14th Street in Fernandina Beach, or the morning of November 7th at the run site between 7:00 -7:30 a.m.

Timing for the run will be provided by Milestone Race Authority.  All proceeds raised from the run will go to a select Veteran or a Gold Star Veteran family from Nassau County.  If running is not your thing but, you still wish to volunteer, please e-mail one of our Cross the Line Board members at crossthelinefoundation@yahoo.com.
