Veterans Day Fun Run

On Friday, November 11, 2022, Cross the Line Foundation, in partnership with Ricky Robbins, held the second annual Veterans Day Fun Run.  Forty-three participants braved the windy wet weather from Tropical Storm Nicole to complete either the 5 Kilometer or 5 Mile run courses. With the help of several volunteers and the Fernandina Auxiliary Police, the run course started at 9:00 a.m. at the Veteran Memorial on Front Street in Fernandina Beach. The runners raced to the beach and back.  After the run at 11:00 a.m. a ceremony was held honoring our Veterans.  The run raised $1,195.00 for the Cross the Line Scholarship fund.
