Tina Taker
Tina was born in Quantico, VA and moved multiple times throughout childhood with her military family. Being raised the daughter of a Marine instilled in Tina a longstanding respect and love for the military community. In 1989, Tina began her government career in an admin position with the U.S. Attorneys Office in Raleigh, NC. In 1996, Tina was hired as a federal law enforcement officer/criminal investigator with the U.S. Marshals Service. After serving with the Marshals Service for just over 20 years, Tina retired from federal law enforcement in August 2016.
Tina discovered Fernandina Beach in 1997, moved here, and made Fernandina her home. Since retirement, Tina has volunteered with several groups and organizations. However Tina finds the opportunity to ‘give a little something back’ to those that served our military especially fulfilling.
