Bill Cimino

Bill Cimino, Co-director

Bill is a native of Sharon, Pennsylvania, and a graduate of Edinboro University, Pennsylvania. He commissioned into the Army in 1986, serving as a communications officer with the 43rd Signal Battalion in the 24th Infantry Division. He deployed with the 24th Infantry Division during Operation Desert Storm in 1990-1991.

After being diagnosed with Type 1 Juvenile Diabetes, Bill decided to leave the Service in 1992. Following the Army, he went on to work for 25 years with the Federal Bureau of Prisons, retiring in 2017 as the Regional Reentry Services Administrator in the Mid-Atlantic Region.

Following retirement, he and his wife relocated to Fernandina Beach, Florida, where he began working as a boat captain. In 2018, he and fellow co-director Paul Lore, started the Cross the Line Foundation.
